Limerick-based trio Kingfishr have quickly established themselves as one of Irish music's rising prospects. As part of the new generation of Irish contemporaries, the band's grand, atmospheric tone combined with their propensity for catchy tunes has resonated with a wide audience.
In just two years, they have amassed over 10 million streams on Spotify to date, were included in Spotify's Fresh Finds UK & IE: Class of 2023, and kicked off 2024 as Spotify RADAR: First Listen UK & IE Artists. 2023 saw sold-out debut tours in the UK and Ireland, as well as a series of performances with major artists including Dermot Kennedy and George Ezra, and notable performances at festivals including BST Hyde Park, Latitude, All Points East and Electric Picnic.
For 2024, the band have sold out 2 consecutive nights at Dublin's Olympia Theatre, are touring the UK alongside Tom Walker and supporting Snow Patrol's show at Thomond Park Stadium in July. In summer 2024 the band will also be performing at festivals across Europe including Glastonbury, TRNMST, Isle Of Wight, Reading and Leeds, All Together Now, Sea Sessions, Down The Rabbit Hole, Rock Werchter, Montreux Jazz and many more.
