The Wiggles are spinning the turntables to expectations after releasing an unexpected EDM album.
With over three decades of entertainment under their belt, the underwear-clad group has consistently captured the hearts of kids and parents alike. Now they're extending their reach to the dance floor with their first electronic music album, The Wiggles Soundsystem: Rave of Innocenceand with it they're turning their iconic songs into techno treasures that promise to make everyone from toddlers to millennials reaching for glow sticks.
Together, The Wiggles combined thumping bass lines with beloved childhood tunes, from “Hot Potato” to “Fruit Salad” to “Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star.” The 14-track remix album weaves together a variety of dancefloor-dominating genres, including house and techno, and even a psytrance-infused rendition of “Five Little Ducks.”
“It's amazing to see people in their 20s and 30s who grew up enjoying our music in a completely new and fun way; this remix album is kind of an extension of that,” said Anthony Field of The Wiggles in a press release. . “Is [a] Wild ride.”
