Early Monday morning (April 29), a security guard was shot in Encino, California, at a home linked to music executive and co-manager of The Weeknd, Amir “Cash” Esmailian.
The LAPD dispatched Advertising sign statement about the incident at 2:30 a.m. “The victim (M/B/37 years old) was inside a guard hut when he heard several gunshots and discovered he had been hit. A resident spoke KTLA and explained that the affluent neighborhood is quiet and rarely experiences violent incidents like this one. “I'm sure everything that happened here was caught on the security camera,” she said. Unfortunately, this can also bring risks with it.”
said the police KTLA that Esmailian was inside the home at the time of the incident, but it is unclear if the suspects ever entered the residence. A separate report from KTTV notes that the injured guard called the police and identified the suspects as three hooded and masked men. The executive is currently embroiled in the Drake and Kendrick Lamar feud, which saw Drake take shots at The Weeknd and Esmalian himself on the track “Push Ups.”
