Kate Hudson is set to dive into the world of music with her debut album, Gloriousand the superstar joined The Howard Stern Show on Wednesday (May 8) to take the stage.
The Almost famous The star performed “Gonna Find Out” from her upcoming album, as well as a cover of 'Til Tuesday's '80 hit “Voices Carry” as well as the Stone Temple Pilots song “Vasoline.”
A year ago, Hudson signed a music management deal with Sandbox Entertainment, headed by Jason Owen. The company's roster also includes Kelsea Ballerini, Dan+Shay and Kacey Musgraves. At the time of the signing, Hudson also revealed that she was working on an album.
“Music has always been my light,” Hudson said in a statement. “Finally feeling ready to share mine is deeply personal to me, almost like a musical memoir. Writing this album over the past year and a half has been the most enjoyable and exciting experience, and I couldn't be more excited to work with Jason to bring it to the world.”
Earlier this year, Hudson shared videos and photos of an intimate gathering she had with friends in Aspen, Colo., on social media, including a The TikTok video of herself performing a loose, slightly rough rendition of the song. He captioned the video, “A little lady rendition of 'White Horse'.” On Instagram, herself shared more video clips of her performanceincluding her covers of “White Horse,” Patty Griffin's “When It Don't Come Easy,” Ryan Adams' “Come Pick Me Up,” and Dua Lipa's “Dance the Night.”
