The new Amazon Prime Video Fallout sports series off to a strong start Advertising signChart of top TV songs, powered by Tunefind (a Songtradr company), ranking five of the 10 songs in the April 2024 survey, paced by The Ink Spots' “I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire” at No. 1.
Rankings for the Top TV Songs chart are based on song and show data provided by Tunefind and are ranked using a formula that combines this data with sales and streaming information tracked by Luminate during the corresponding period of April 2024.
“I Don't Want to Set the World on Fire” was recorded by The Ink Spots in 1941 (it reached No. 4 in Advertising sign's Best Selling Records that year) and is familiar to his fans Fallout video game series on which the TV show is based, as well as being part of the games' soundtrack Fallout 3, Fallout 4 and Fallout 76.
The song, which appeared in the show's second episode (all of which premiered on April 10), garnered 4.6 million official US streams and 1,000 downloads as of April 2024, according to Luminate.
Fallout also takes No. 2 on Top TV Songs: Johnny Cash's “So Doggone Lonesome” comes in at number two after being heard in the series premiere and third episode. Cash's 1955 single has amassed 1.9 million streams and 1,000 downloads as of April 2024.
“Ladyfingers” by Herb Alpert and the Tijuana Brass (No. 4, 2.6 million streams), “Only You (And You Alone)” by the Platters (No. 6, 2.1 million streams, 1,000 downloads) and Nat “King” Cole's “Orange Colored Sky” (No. 7, 1.7 million streams, 1,000 downloads) also helps crown Falloutarrival on Top TV Songs.
The top nonFallout Headlining, meanwhile, is Tom Jones' “It's Not Unusual,” which slips to No. 3. Jones' first song to reach Advertising sign chart (it peaked at No. 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 in May 1965), the track appears in the series premiere Dead Boy Detectivesthe new Netflix series premiered its first season on April 25.
“It's Not Unusual” earned 2.9 million streams in April 2024. Joining the chart is Church's “Under the Milky Way,” which bows at No. 10 after sync Dead Boy Detectivesepisode seven (1.2 million streams); “Under the Milky Way” was also a hit on the Hot 100, reaching No. 24 in June 1988.
