Martin Lawrence returns to theaters alongside his own Bad Boys co-star Will Smith, but a recent appearance by the actors has fans concerned about the state of the comedian's health. Martin Lawrence spoke about the moment in a recent interview and assured concerned fans that he is in good health.
Martin Lawrence and Will Smith were on set for Hot 97's Evros In the morning as part of press coverage for their new film, Bad Boys: Ride Or Die, which Smith and Lawrence both stated was the best of the four films that came out of the franchise. Earlier in the interview, host Ebro Darden mentioned the couple's press stops in Mexico City and Los Angeles, where fans thought Lawrence wasn't looking his best.
Martin Lawrence, when asked about fans' concern about his health from Ebro, said, “I'm fine, I'm in God's hands. I am blessed. I'm glad to wake up every day. I'm all good. People don't need to worry.”
Other topics covered were Smith's return to the stage after the Oscars incident and, of course, The Prince of Bel-Air and Swallow. Both men praised each other for being the stars of Black sitcoms on television at a time when that wasn't always an issue.
There was also a fun segment that Peter Rosenberg asked about The Prince of Bel-Airhis theme song and how Quincy Jones accepted Smith's proposal after some early struggles.
