The opportunity to learn music production skills and industry knowledge from an EDM icon doesn't come along every day. But now it's a reality thanks to Afrojack, who has joined forces with Tomorrowland to offer an extensive educational course on everything related to electronic dance music.
The program, WALL Pro Academy, acts as an extension of the “Online Tomorrowland Academy” platform to help DJs improve their skills in the studio and learn how to succeed in the music industry. From production, mixing and mastering to marketing and management, the new online hub features over 30 hours of tutorials and content, all taught exclusively by the “Take Over Control” producer.
Beyond studio techniques, some of the many topics that allow DJs to take control of their careers include branding, networking, health and wellness, copyright, publishing, music business and tax management. With over 15 years of knowledge and experience to bring to the table, Afrojack essentially wants to be your personal music coach.
“For the first time, I'm going to share all my music production secrets, my management secrets, and everything I've learned working in the music industry,” Afrojack said in a press release. “After having billions of streams and having developed successful artists and DJs/producers in hundreds of millions of streams and performances around the world, I am now very happy to open the doors of WALL and the success we have had with the development of WALL artists to all artists and producers around the world through this collaboration with Tomorrowland.
“The most important thing I have learned is that the important thing is not who you are, but what you know,” he added. “Everything begins with knowledge.”
