In the fifth episode of Unfiltered billboard, Billboard Staff members Damien Scott, Trevor Anderson and Carl Lamarre discuss Cardi B & Bia's issues from the verses to the accusations made. They also discuss Eminem's return to rap with “Houdini,” the backlash he's receiving over the Megan Thee Stallion reference and how his career has evolved with age. The trio also dives into Drake's music after the feud with Kendrick and more!
Damian Scott:
Cardi is so big. For me, her still being alive and doing all this is very complicated.
Carl Lamarre:
Are you looking for an Eminem album for 2024?
Damian Scott:
Yes. I listen to all Eminem albums.
Carl Lamarre:
Wow!
Trevor Anderson:
Drake jumped that thing into the top 10.
Carl Lamarre:
It slipped quite a bit…
Trevor Anderson:
We're not talking about slides.
Carl Lamarre:
We are back with a new episode of Unfiltered billboard. We have Mr. Trevor Anderson back with us.
Damian Scott:
Welcome back, Trev.
Trevor Anderson:
Hi how are things? It's pretty good to be back.
Carl Lamarre:
How was Paris?
Damian Scott:
Was it a vacation?
Trevor Anderson:
Yes it was.
Damian Scott:
Passport in pivot?
Trevor Anderson:
Yes, you know.
Damian Scott:
As they used to say.
Trevor Anderson:
Yes, but it was nice. It has been a beautiful moment. I thank you all. Yeah.
Carl Lamarre:
This week, quite formidable. You know, in terms of what we're going through. First of all, Cardi B vs. Bia. Cardi B last week joined GloRilla and Megan Thee Stallions' remix for “Wanna Be,” and she had, you know, some things to say about Bia, and she threw some shots.
Damian Scott:
Can you shred this meat? Do you understand how this problem started?
Carl Lamarre:
So, I think this is like guilt by association type shit, because, you know, team Bia, Minaj, right? Team Nicki. So you know.
Keep watching to learn more!
