DJ Khaled and The Kid LAROI are headed to the NHL Stanley Cup Final — but the duo won't be picking up their skates (although we'd love to see Khaled on the ice).
The NHL tapped Miami resident DJ Khaled and his hit producer “Stay” to headline the Stanley Cup Concert Series presented by BODYARMOR heading into Games 1 and 2 of the Stanley Cup Final between the Florida Panthers and Edmonton Oilers.
Kid LAROI will break the ice with a pre-Game 1 performance on Saturday night (June 8), while mogul We the Best is set to headline Monday's night out in Sunrise, Florida.
Both concerts will be open to the public with no match ticket required for attendees. Performances will begin at 6 p.m. ET in Lot C2 outside Amerant Bank Arena before the 8 p.m.
Portions of both performances by Khaled and LAROI will be used as part of the Stanley Cup Final broadcasts. In addition to the concert series, fans should be on the lookout for more artist performances and special guests.
Next week is going to be a busy one for Khaled. In addition to the Stanley Cup appearances, it will host the second annual We The Best Foundation Jordan Golf Classic on June 13, featuring professional golfers such as Bubba Watson and athletes such as Odell Beckham Jr. to play in Miami.
As for The Kid LAROI, he's currently on the road on his The First Time tour, which hits Atlanta on Friday (June 7) before the Aussies take over the Stanley Cup Concert Series on Saturday. The mystery doesn't stop, as he'll be staying in Florida for a pair of shows in Tampa Bay and Miami.
