Drake fully leans into the soccer dad persona. The 6 God pulled his 6-year-old son Adoni's soccer game over the weekend to support the little boy dressed to the nines.
Rainy took to Instagram on Sunday (June 9) to show off his fitness while cheering on Adonis, who was looking to put on a performance on the pitch with his father in attendance. The OVO boss opted for baggy trousers to pair with a cream T-shirt and a sweater tied around his neck. “Goats don't worry about a pony trick,” she captioned the set of photos.
Fans, friends and peers had a lot to say about Drake's wardrobe choices in his comments section. “Drake the rapper guy who hands out orange wedges at his son's soccer game,” one person joked.
However, Sexyy Red endorsed the app: “Fyreeeee”.
Another person shouted: “Football duck is wild!”
The look seems to have struck a chord with fans, as the post already has over 3.5 million likes as of press time, which is the most Drake has received on a post currently on his Instagram since March.
Fans have seen Drake support Adonis' dreams before, and that has carried over to football. While Drizzy loves his basketball, he has made references to some of the legends who have stuck their feet on the tracks.
“Just dealing with my goals like I'm Messi,” he raps in a tribute to Argentine icon Lionel Messi on Future's “I'm on One.” Drake also saluted Cristiano Ronaldo Scorpio2018's “Blue Tint.” “As it happens, I live like Ronaldo/ But I've never been to Madrid,” he rhymes about CR's former home.
