Don Omar revealed that he is battling cancer in his latest Instagram post on Monday (June 17).
“Today yes, but tomorrow I won't have cancer,” he captioned a photo showing his hospital bracelet from an Orlando-based medical center. “Good intentions are accepted. See you soon. #f–kcancer.”

The health news comes hours after the Puerto Rican artist (real name William Omar Landrón Rivera) posted a video of a group of dancers auditioning for the second leg of his Back to Reggatón tour.
“The most special thing about today's auditions is seeing that there are people who want to dare to dream with me.” expressed in Saturday's (June 15) post. “Thank you to each and every one of you for giving it your all on the track! This second leg of the tour comes with everything.”
The “Pobre Diabla” singer — who made his long-awaited comeback with his 2023 album Forever king — hit the road this spring with a 20-date trek that ran from March 7 to April 21 at the Kaseya Center in Miami. Midway through the tour, the Boricua hitmaker added 18 more dates to the CMN production set.
The second leg of the Back to Reggaetón tour is set to kick off on August 7th in Oakland, California and will make pit stops in cities like San Diego. Portland, Ore.; Tampa, Florida? and Ontario, California, before finishing at the UBS Arena in Elmont, New York, on September 15.
Don Omar's comeback tour, which marks his first major headlining tour in a decade and his first since Kingdom tour with Daddy Yankee in 2015, has grossed $17.8 million and sold 146,000 tickets in its first 14 shows (through on April 7), according to Billboard. Boxscore numbers.
