Scratch My Progress is Oh Yeah Music Centre's annual talent development plan. Since 2010, 53 acts have benefited from the scheme, which features Oh Yeah mentors dedicated to developing, supporting, spotlighting, nurturing and promoting local musical talent to international changemakers.
Applications are now open for the class of 2024/25 and we are looking forward to a busy and competitive year given our student's sustained success including;
– Problematic patterns who will play at Glastonbury 2024
– Charlie Hanlon, who had his first UK performance at The Great Escape 2024.
– Susi Pagel, who performed at Electric Picnic 2023
– HY:LY, which has been featured on BBC Radio 1 and Spotify editorial playlists.
– Beat Up Car, which scored a sync on the hit BBC TV series 'Blue Lights'
– Balcón Sunrise, whose single released through the program has had 250,000 views on Spotify alone.
– Kitt Philippa, who won 'Album of the Year' at the Northern Ireland Music Prize
– Sasha Samara, who won the 'Contender' award at the Northern Ireland Music Awards 2020
– Gemma Bradley, who is now the UK national radio presenter for the BBC. We present…
