Are you ready to rock? Paramount+ was revealed exclusively via Advertising sign on Thursday (June 20) a brand new documentary, Nothin' But a Good Time: The Untold Story of '80s Hair Metalwill be released on the streaming platform later this year.
The three-part series, directed by Jeff Tremaine, is based on the book of the same name by Tom Beaujour and Richard Bienstock and will delve into the sassy era of 80s hard rock and will feature interviews with some of its key players and fans, including Poison frontman Bret Michaels, Ratt frontman Stephen Pearcy, Extreme guitarist Nuno Bettencourt, Skid Row guitarist Dave “Snake” Sabo, TV and radio personality Riki Rachtman, Slipknot singer Corey Taylor and Fool star Steve-O, among others.
“This documentary is a celebration of the most outrageous decade in rock n' roll. It's my love letter to the '80s,” Tremaine said in a press statement. Per release, the series will offer “a fresh and shockingly honest behind-the-scenes look at one of music's most iconic eras. Each episode showcases the insanity and fiery ambition that has captivated generations of music lovers and continues to influence culture to this day.”
