Taylor Swift closed her latest Eras tour in London, England on Sunday with guests including Sir Paul McCartney in attendance. The Beatles member was spotted by fans as he entered the VIP stage and danced with fans during the third and final Swift Eras concert at Wembley Stadium. But the biggest surprise of the night was the appearance of Swift's boyfriend, Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, who made his Eras tour stage debut.
During the intro of “I Can Do It With a Broken Heart,” Kelce appeared as one of her dancers and brought her to the couch during the vaudeville-style segment.
However, that wasn't the only surprise Swift had in store for her fans. During the acoustic portion of her set, she brought out Gracie Abrams to debut “Us” live. Their collaboration, which arrived Friday, appears on Abrams' latest studio album, Our secret.
Sunday brought together a host of VIP A-list music stars, reportedly including Peter Gabriel and Jon Bon Jovi, although none of them took to the stage. However, McCartney joined the fans to dance during “But Daddy I Love Him”.
Like many of her Eras tour stops, her run in London attracted plenty of celebrities over the weekend. Members of the royal family made an appearance during its opening night at Wembley on Friday: Prince William attended along with Prince George and Princess Charlotte. Swift took a selfie of them together with Kelce and wished William a happy birthday (he celebrated his 42nd birthday on June 21).
On Saturday, Swift invited Paramore's Hayley Williams – the band is the opening guest for Swift's European and UK Eras dates – on stage during the acoustic segment. The pair performed the piano-themed 'Castles Crumbling' featuring Williams, a track from the vault of Speak Now (Taylor Edition). Swift also made a live debut Section The tortured poets: The Anthology The track “Thank You, Aimee”, which he played on acoustic guitar and mashed it with “Mean”.
Next weekend, he goes to Dublin, Ireland. The European and UK leg of the tour runs through August, before heading to Canada for a run of dates concluding on December 8 at BC Place in Vancouver. Swift recently announced that she will be wrapping up her Eras tour for good at the end of 2024.
