Lauryn Hill will be back on tour with The Fugues this summer on a new tour to celebrate her classic debut album, which will also include YG Marley.
On Tuesday (June 25), Ms. Lauryn Hill announced that she was going back on the road as head of the expansion of The Miseducation Anniversary Tour, celebrating her special album, Lauryn Hill's Bad Education, Which has received critical acclaim since its release in 1998. She will be joined on tour by her bandmates The Fugees as well as her singer-songwriter son, YG Marley. The tour will also feature music from the Fugees' second album, The score, with music by Bad educationwhich was recently named the number one album on Apple Music's 100 Greatest Albums list.
The tour will kick off on August 9th in Tampa, Florida. This city was to be next on the previous tour last November before Hill was forced to cancel the dates due to severe vocal strain and a doctor's advice to rest. The tour will hit multiple cities including Atlanta, Cincinnati, Charlotte, Los Angeles and Houston before wrapping up with four European dates in the UK and France before the final date on October 22nd in Amsterdam. According to the press release, $2 from each ticket sale will go to the MLH Fund, which “will benefit a list of local and global organizations that benefit from initiatives related to Mental Health, Women's Wellness, Small Business Development in Community, Education and more throughout the diaspora”.

Citi credit cardholders can purchase tickets through a presale held at 10 a.m. local time via Citi Entertainment. Those with Mastercards in France and the Netherlands can get their tickets early in a pre-sale starting at 10am. local time on Wednesday (June 26).
