Charli XCX continues to present it Brat on festival stages across Europe and during her Friday set in Roskilde, Denmark, she brought out Caroline Polachek to perform their 2023 collaboration “Welcome to My Island (Remix).”
XCX had performed the track — which first appeared on Polachek's album Desire, I want to turn into you before it was remixed by Charli and her now-fiancé George Daniel — soloed at some of Brat's recent concerts, but Friday marked the first time the two singers performed “Welcome to My Island (Remix)” together at one of the charli shows. ; they previously they played it together at Polachek's concert in Los Angeles in April 2023.
The singers and friends – who have also collaborated on Charli's 'Tears' as well as 'New Shapes' with Christine and the Queens – appeared to perform 'Macarena' during the show:
“Brat Summer” will continue in Europe through July 12 in Ibiza before “Brat Fall” begins in North America with the start of the co-headlining Sweat tour with Troye Sivan. the two recently shared the stage together in London. This arena tour begins on September 14th in Detroit and ends on October 23rd in Seattle.
