Joaquina shares 5 things you didn’t know about her, including information about her first album and her single, “pesimista.”
Joaquina:
Hey guys, I’m Joaquina and these are five things you might not know about me. Number one, my favorite food is pasta and milanesa, in no particular order. Separately, together, whatever, in any form, made any way, any preparation, always. Number two, the last song I put out is called “pessimista,” but it’s actually a love song. And I think it’s kind of an ironic title, but I thought it was fun to name it that on purpose. Number three, I think I have really bad time management and I’m trying to get better at it. I’ve learned to put on makeup anywhere possible, the bathroom, the car, on the street, in a dumpster, in a restaurant. No mirror? Nevermind, I’ll use my phone camera. No phone camera? Nevermind, I’ll use my imagination. Problem solving needs to happen and here we are. In fact, I think my eyeliner is the only thing in my life that I do fast, that’s the truth. Fourthly, I'm making my first album and the whole process makes me feel absolutely crazy, in every sense of the word, crazy in love, but also crazy because I'm very obsessive when I write and my brain never stops thinking about the songs. And I think all the songs on the album were written in hotel rooms, in my bedroom, on planes, in taxis, in cars, I think everywhere but a studio.
