Magdalena Bay has announced a new album titled Imaginal diskwhich will be released on August 23rd via Mom+Pop Music. The indie group accompanied the announcement with the release of their new single, “Image.” Watch the music video below.
Imaginal disk It is set to arrive as Magdalena Bay's second effort, following 2021's. Mercurial Worldas well as a number of non-album singles and EPs. As indicated by the recently released “Death & Romance,” Imaginal disk It seems to find the band leaning towards their more radical tendencies, with swirling soundscapes, wild sonic palettes and ferocious rhythms.

“Image” and its music video are a compelling and intensely danceable first taste of the upcoming record. With vaporwave and absurdist overtones, the images detail a digitally distorted nightmare, complete with stellar monsters, chase sequences, and the home shopping network.
