Skrillex has gone from humble headliner to having an entire stage named after him at Lollapalooza.
While the schedule and lineup for next month's festival in Chicago has been known for some time, fans have been wondering when Skrillex would take the stage. Saturday's schedule for Lollapalooza's iconic Perry's Stage was left blank with a “?” in place from opening to closing.
Rumors quickly spread on social media that Skrillex was somehow involved, considering the lineup had him in a unique position compared to the other headliners and he wasn't featured anywhere on the show. Now, organizers have shared that the Perry Stage will be transformed into the “Sonny Stage” for a special takeover curated by the dubstep icon.
