According to the website, the rapper/singer has found a way to deliver new tunes without sacrificing quality after announcing that he figured out how to “record in high fidelity from prison.”
Lanez has been releasing songs he's been keeping under wraps all July, but now his fans, who he hilariously calls his “umbrella,” can look forward to the heavily tuned new tracks.

“After 20-something to 30-something screw-ups and mistakes, me and my engineer finally figured out how to record prison phone music and keep the quality as professional as I had it on the road,” he said. in a recorded call he posted on his Instagram on Wednesday (July 24). “It's over. I broke the fucking code, man. That means not even these prison walls can stop me from dropping new music. It's crazy!

Tory Lanez is currently serving a 10-year prison sentence for the shooting death of Megan Thee Stallion. He is currently trying to appeal the conviction on the grounds of “Wrongful admission of evidence” and “Prosecutorial misconduct”.
His appeal is on hold, giving prosecutors time to consider the defense's allegations.
