Eminem may have killed his alter-ego The Death of Slim Shadybut still can't shake off Slim Shady.
As part of it Complex'small The Face-Off short sequence, Eminem argues with Slim Shady as they banter back and forth in the clip which essentially features Em interviewing a version of himself.
“I'm back because you got your nuts so tight between your legs that Caitlyn Jenner would be jealous,” said digital Slim Shady. Eminem immediately went on the defensive: “Are you like allergic to not being an a-hole?”
Em compares Slim to South Park's Cartman and Family guy while complaining about how Gen Z tries to find a new reason to cancel him every week after discovering his alter-ego. “Every other week on TikTok, Gen-Z discovers you on Monday and unfollows me on Tuesday,” he added.
Cancel culture is a major part of what Eminem deals with The Death of Slim Shady on tracks like “Trouble”.
“What's going on, Marshall? Your dick's packed/ Ooh, the big bad rapper hurt his feelings/ You gonna cancel me, yeah? Gen-Z me, bruh,” he raps from Slim's perspective.
Fans can expect the full episode of Eminem's appearance The Face Off will be released on July 29.
The Death of Slim Shady It served as the Detroit legend's 12th studio album and delivered his 10th consecutive Billboard 200-topper. TDOSS debuted with 281,000 total equivalent album sales in its first week to end Taylor Swift's three-month run at the top of the chart.
