An unreleased Mark Lanegan song titled “Heard a Train” has been unveiled ahead of the reissue of the late singer-songwriter's 2004 album. Gum.
Last month, it was announced that the reissue, titled XX Gumwould arrive in different formats on August 23, including a 4-LP, 3-CD box set containing a wealth of unreleased songs, demos, and rarities.

Sadly, Lanegan passed away at the young age of 57 in February 2022. In addition to his solo work, the acclaimed singer was the frontman of Screaming Trees and a member of QOTSA and The Gutter Twins.
