TI was arrested at Hartsfield-Jackson Airport in Atlanta on Sunday night (August 4). However, although there was a warrant for the arrest of one Clifford Smith, he was not about Clifford Harris who we all know as the famous Atlanta rapper.
Talk about a case of mistaken identity.
TMZ reports that the warrant was actually for one Clifford Harris of Baltimore. Suspect Harris is wanted on charges that include “violent conduct toward a female, stalking and possibly involving a weapon.”
It appears that the officers did not bother to look too closely at the details of the warrant. The wanted person in question reported ways of 205 lbs. As for the TI, it clocks in at around 165, and that's rather wet, respectfully.
