Singer’s “The Hits” residency at the Colosseum ends tonight after 13 years and 200 gigs, but Stewart will return to Sin City next spring
Rod Stewart will return to Las Vegas in 2025 for an “encore” residency at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace.
The singer spent over a dozen years at his Vegas residency “Rod Stewart: The Hits,” which was initially supposed to end tonight, August 7, with his 200th concert at the venue. However, hours before showtime, Stewart announced 12 more dates, dubbed “The Encore Shows,” beginning next spring.
As of now, the “Encore” performances will span six dates in March, two in May, and four more in June. Tickets for the shows go on sale to the general public starting Monday, August 12.
According to Live Nation, the “Encore Shows” will feature Stewart’s “biggest hits, plus surprises from the songbook, swing, as well as deep cuts, and stunning new production elements.”
Stewart, who announced last year that he’ll “never retire” even as he approaches 80, will remain busy the rest of the year with other touring obligations, including a co-headlining show with Billy Joel this September in Cleveland.
