The Smile are back with their first song since January Eye wall. “Don't Get Me Started,” one of two songs released on a limited 12″ single last month via XL, is out now, with a Weirdcore-directed video. Check it out below. A second song featured on 12, “The Slip”, has yet to be released digitally.
Eye wall Producer Sam Petts-Davies again produced the new song, recording it between Oxford and Abbey Road Studios. The Radiohead trio of Thom Yorke and Jonny Greenwood with jazz drummer Tom Skinner spent much of the year touring behind the album, but canceled several shows after Greenwood was hospitalized with a serious infection. “Thankfully he is now out of danger and will be returning home soon,” the band wrote.
