It's been years since Kanye West decided to condemn the Jewish community with his infamous “Death con 3” tweets after a nap. While he hasn't necessarily given up his anti-Semitic views, he now seems to be going the Jamie Foxx way and blaming it on al-al-al-al-al-alcohol.
In a newly released interview with MAGA supporter Candace Owens from 2022, Kanye West addressed his anti-Semitic tweets and revealed that he didn't have Henrock when he decided to shoot an entire community. The topic came up when the two started talking about the meaning behind the word “alcohol” which they said meant it “kills your spirit and allows demons to come in.”
That's when Kanye revealed he was drunk when he sent the hate tweet saying, “I must have been drinking when I posted the death con tweet. You know whose, I mean the alcohol I had in me? Hennessy. Hennessy. It makes us gray. Literally, the demons [just come in].”
When asked by Candace why he didn't just state that he was drunk when he posted his billionaire status, Kanye simply said that he didn't want to “claim” what he felt was “the fact of what I was saying.”
Yeah, that didn't help his anti-Semitic case much.
Although Kanye has since apologized to the Jewish community for his ill-intentioned words, many felt it was too late or simply disingenuous, as his rhetoric was generally MAGA-ish in nature.
Since then, every company or brand he was involved with has cut ties with him, including Adidas, The Gap, Balenciaga and many more.
Whether he'll ever return to a position where he works with other brands or companies remains to be seen, but with the way he's been living his life in public recently, we don't see that happening anytime soon.
