This is the 4th EP from Arlington, Texas emcee Claas. For about 2 decades, this guy has been consistently working for the underground either on his own or as part of groups like the Underground Avengers as well as VLNC & Caarnivorz. He teased his previous LP, Albeit 3, with Lyrikal Snuff Productionz by dropping a trilogy of EPs leading up to it, as did Strange Music in 2019/2020 right before the pandemic, culminating in This is revenge it was fully released 2 and a half years ago. Over a month after UGA's 3rd and final album Oblivion However, Claas wants to get listeners In my head.
The title track has a morbid trap vibe to pick up the 3-song, 11-minute offering set off demonically for demons following him with no end in sight, while “In This Box” wistfully acknowledges death at the door encouraging him to let go to enter. “A Part of Me” ends the EP with a guitar and hi-hats that speak of searching, but can't find.
Far outside of his canon, what we have is the culmination of Claas' most grueling journey in life, dealing with everything that has happened over the course of 2 years and finding a way to put it all into words. He tells a story of himself struggling with the thoughts in my head and finally realizing the biggest tragedy in his life is happening, slowly falling into the depths of the dark thoughts in his head.
