Billie Eilish earns her first No. 1 on both the Billboard Global 200 and Billboard Global Excl. US charts as 'Birds of a Feather' rises from second place to perch at the top of every survey.
Eilish also debuts in the top five of each chart as Charli xcx's “Guess,” on which she appears, debuts at No. 3 on the Global 200 and No. 5 on the Global Excl. US
Global 200 and Global Excl. The US charts, which launched in September 2020, rank songs based on streaming and sales activity from more than 200 territories around the world, as compiled by Luminate. Global 200 includes global data and Global Excl. The US chart includes data from regions outside the United States.
Chart scores are based on a weighted formula that incorporates only official streams on both subscription and ad-supported tiers of music audio and video services, as well as download sales, the latter of which reflect purchases from full-service digital music retailers from worldwide, with sales from direct-to-consumer (D2C) sites excluded from chart calculations.
“Birds of a Feather” tops the Global 200 with 78.8 million streams (up 2%) and 7,000 sales (up 11%) worldwide from August 2-8. The singer-songwriter previously hit No. 2 on the chart with “What Was I Made For?” in August 2023 and “Therefore I Am” in November 2020.
Additionally, Charli xcx's “Guess,” featuring Eilish, debuts at No. 3 on the Global 200 with 60.3 million streams and 9,000 sales worldwide. The song rose 999% and 848% in the respective metrics after the remix arrived on August 1 with Eilish. First released on June 10th at Charli xcx's Brat and It's the Same, but there are three other songs, so it's notthe deluxe edition of her album Bratwhich was released on June 7. Charli xcx scores her first top 10 since the start of the Global 200, while Eilish adds her eighth.
Elsewhere in the Global 200's top five, Sabrina Carpenter's “Espresso” rebounds 3-2, after three consecutive weeks at No. 1 beginning in June. Shaboozey's “A Bar Song (Tipsy)” is at No. 4 after reaching No. 3. and Jimin's “Who” falls to No. 5 after spending its first two weeks on the chart at No. 1.
“Birds of a Feather” simultaneously climbs 2-1 on Global Excl. US, with 57.3 million streams (up 3%) and 3,000 sales (up 18%) outside the US Aug. 2-8. Eilish previously reached No. 2 with “Lunch” in June and “Therefore I Am” in 2020. Both “Birds of a Feather” and “Lunch” are from her new album, Hit hard and soft.
Charli xcx's “Guess,” featuring Eilish, opens at No. 5 on Global Excl. US with 40.1 million streams and 4,000 sold worldwide. As in the Global 200, Charli xcx claims her first Global Excl. US top 10, while Eilish takes her number to eight.
Between the simultaneous five of Eilish Global Excl. US hits, Jimin's “Who” slips to No. 2 after spending its first two weeks on the chart at No. 1. Carpenter's “Espresso” is at No. 3, after eight consecutive weeks at No. 1 beginning in May. and Karol G's “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” remains at his No. 4 best.
