Katy Perry's “Lifetimes” music video is being investigated by the Balearic government for possible environmental damage. Don't miss the details.
Tetris Kelly:
Katy Perry is being investigated by the Balearic Islands government for her latest video, “Lifetimes,” which shows her dancing around Ibiza and Formentera. Part of the filming took place on an islet in the Ses Salines Natural Park, a restricted area of the dunes that is protected by posts and ropes that prevent visitors from entering. According to a press release, the Department of the Environment has not yet determined whether an environmental crime has occurred, but the ministry has confirmed that the video's production company has not obtained authorization to film in the protected area and has not even requested it. Billboard has reached out to Katy Perry's team for comment.
