More than 30 artists are set to play Day Zero 2025, once again in Tulum, Mexico on January 11th.
Headlining the expertise-focused line-up are Turkish-Italian phenom Carlita, South African duo Major League DJz, global club legend DJ Harvey, UK favorite Fatboy Slim and a crew of other acts including Lee Burridge, Francesca Lombardo, Dubfire, Victor Calderone and event founder Damian Lazarus. Additionally, Day Zero will once again feature a stage featuring local Mexican producers. Check out the full lineup below.
Organizers of the event report that tickets are already 70% sold out through a pre-sale held in July. The remaining tickets will go on sale on August 22nd until Day Zero website. The party, which features music from sunset to sunrise, usually takes place at a jungle location near the Mexico resort, with the exact location to be announced in the coming months.
Day Zero began in December 2012, with Lazarus and crew planning to coincide with the end of the Mayan calendar and what many hailed at the time as the end of the world.
“I'm not sure there's that much flight anymore,” the producer said Bulletin board of the world stage in 2020. “Clubs and events have become too controlled and monitored, drug taking has become too dangerous and unexciting, music has become too stale and obvious. As a result of this, negative things happen on and around the track. We need a new beginning, new ideas, collective positive thinking and planning, new passion for music. These are the things I work hard to visualize and produce when creating Day Zero and Get Lost [party series] facts.”
