Earlier this summer, sneakerheads were privy to Nigo's upcoming Air Force 3 collaboration, and while he hadn't officially revealed any details on it, Nigo is now officially unveiling his new iteration on the OG Nike shoe, and these might actually fly from the shelves.
According to High concernNigo finally took to Instagram to show off his crafty take on the classic sneaker, and while he didn't say when or even if they'll be releasing, hype beasts are already thinking about how to grab a pair of the colorful remixed silhouette. However, there are a few colorways for the AF3 that Nigo has been spotted in, so if the sneaker were to drop which one would the general public get?
Per Highsnobiety:
This is the light tan pair worn by NIGO late last year, the white pair with various bold overlays tested alongside an Air Force 1 collab, and most recently resale site Horhead Sales got their hands on it. a colorful pair of patent leather — there's no telling which of the Air Force sneakers will make it to stores.
Additionally, there's the NIGO x Nike sweatshirt that the designer teased during KENZO's Fall/Winter 2024 show, which is presumably also part of the collection.
There are still a lot of open questions about the collaboration, but NIGO gave us a sneak peek at what's to come and some insight into the inspirations behind the collection.
We won't bet, Nigo may have resurrected a neglected Nike silhouette with these colorways. We might have to make a couple or two.
