Sebastian Yatra's “Los Domingos” topped this week's new Latin music poll.
In a poll posted Friday (Aug. 30) — in support of the weekly New Music Latin compilation and playlist, curated by Bulletin board Latin and Billboard Español editors — music fans have voted the Colombian pop star's newest tune as their favorite music release of the week.
“Los Domingos” (Sundays) garnered more than 70% of the vote, beating out other new releases that dropped that week, including Becky G's “Cómo Diablos.” Jhayco's “Grecia.” Christian Nodal and Estevie “Un Besito Más”; Luck Ra and Nicki Nicole “Doctor”; and “Vivo Por Ella” by Andrea Bocelli and Karol G.
In second place was newcomer Karina Sofia's 'Malondra', with almost 23% of the vote.
On “Los Domingos,” Yatra returns with a sweet ballad that marks his first solo release since early 2023. This romantic acoustic pop song captures the early stages of a relationship: “Fate brought us face to face/ I've been waiting for you and I've waited long enough/ And now I do, I just need a yes, and just like that/ I'd start with a love song,” she croons in Spanish.
The music video further complements this theme, creatively depicting the Colombian performer riding a motorcycle to meet a special someone, perfectly combining fantasy and optimism.
In the latest New Latin Music poll, music fans crown Kenia OS and Steve Aoki's first collaborative effort, “Replay,” as the winner, garnering more than 50% of the vote.
