Sara Landry, the one who burns up dance floors and reconnects minds, has announced her long-awaited debut album, Spiritual guidance.
As the self-proclaimed “High Priestess of Hard Techno” prepares to unleash her sonic grimoire, anticipation is mounting for an album that will crystallize one of electronic music’s most explosive successes in recent memory. The EDM.com Class of 2024 superstar has amassed a huge and loyal following thanks to her uncompromising approach to the genre, fearlessly bringing rhythm to the forefront on the stages of the world’s biggest festivals.
Speaking about the album, Landry paints a portrait of techno production that weaves big questions through hyperkinetic beats, channeling the invisible threads that bind us all. His bold claim? We are unwitting collaborators in this cosmic dance.
“This sonic approach was motivated and inspired by the notion that none of us are alone because we are all energetically connected,” Landry said in a press release shared with EDM.com“Everything we do is intertwined and collaborative, whether we realize it or not. Every musical experience we've had, every show we've attended, every moment of euphoria that resonates through time has been a collaborative experience and a buildup of energies.”
Spiritual guidanceLandry adds that the album was completed after a 15-month period of creative block. She thanks her numerous collaborators, including Mike Dean, Nico Moreno, Shlømo, Aaron Hibell, LEGZDINA, and Alex Farell, for helping her break the cycle. The album also features her personal hypnotist, whose haunting voice appears in the prelude.
