If Kanye West hopes to continue dropping hot shoes, he'll be doing so without his longtime collaborator and YZY designer Steven Smith.
Steven Smith is letting the helicopter spray his former boss Kanye West after he was fired from the buzz. Talking to me Fast Companysays Smith, “He's lost his mind. The entire Yeezy circles the drain, and that's just part of it. He's surrounded himself with grade C toxic losers.”
Ouch.
Smith's comments are devastating because he was described by the site as a “sensitive advocate for Ye and, in particular, his mental health treatment.”
Now, not so much.
West gave Smith the boot in August and showed how petty he was by blocking Smith on Instagram. Smith has been working with the troubled rapper since 2016 and was one of the key figures in the company's success following the adidas deal, which has since been terminated.
Despite missing his concert with YZY, Smith remains optimistic about his future, telling the website, “I'm in a very happy place with all of this. I will certainly be an invaluable asset to anyone I work with next. It is all his loss and the result of his folly.”
Smith revealed the rationale for his termination, but, according to Fast Company“reached a breaking point” on the road said the “saved” rapper wanted to start his own porn company but rejected the idea.
Bruh.
Other wild claims
Smith is just the latest high-profile ex-employee to drop some serious but wild accusations against the “Monster” creator.
West's former leader and far-right Milo Yiannopoulos claimed in an affidavit that the Chicago rapper is addicted to nitrous oxide thanks to celebrity dentist Thomas Connelly, who laced Ye with the poisonous gas.
According to Yiannopoulos, West spends up to $50,000 a month on nitrous oxide and has undergone scans that show he has suffered permanent brain damage from abusing the poisonous gas.
Connelly has denied the allegations, but in a video he sent to troubled boxer Robert Garcia, he appears to be using an oxygen mask, making it difficult to get past the allegations.
