Ice Spice she must once again defend her name. Cleotrap she claims she was mistreated on the Y2K tour.
The Bronx, New York native was dragged online this week by her ex-girlfriend Cleotrapa. In a series of videos, the “Rockstar” singer explained how she was invited to open for Ice Spice and was promised certain accommodations that were allegedly never honored. Her complaints included having to carry her own bags and not being looked after by Ice Spice security.
Cleotrapa says she spoke to the “Give Me A Light” rapper about the harassment and was soon banned from Ice's dressing room. “That girl was really mad at me for saying something about that luggage,” he said. “No one wants to say nothing to her. He tried to torture me low.”
As expected, the rant quickly went viral to which Ice Spice responded on the X, formerly Twitter, space. “Getting down is sad, guys,” he said. “The scary part of fame, honestly, is when someone feels like they can no longer use your platform or they're not getting exactly what they want out of a situation the way they want it. That's when they decide to crash each time. I'm noticing a pattern.”
Ice went on to reveal that he was actually looking for Cleo. “What had actually happened is we added another tour bus, so I said, 'Now we've got extra space, we've got extra berths.' So I said, “Oh, let's see if Cleo wants to come and do her songs.” But that's the scream I get for trying to be a good person.”
Ironically, she also has a huge loss with her social media following. According to statistics platform Social Blade Ice Spice lost over half a million followers on Instagram in the last week. As expected, Xitter was here for the entire tea and took the opportunity to roast her. You can find some of their best answers below.
