Megan Thee Stallion is working overtime at the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards. In addition to hosting for the night, the Houston hottie also performed an energetic medley of her fiery tracks Megan album on Wednesday (September 11).
Hot Girl Meg took the stage in a pair of strappy boots that made her look like she could either be performing on the mic or about to jump off the top rope of a wrestling ring. (Maybe a WWE Diva could be in her future?)
She set the tone with her serpentine-themed “Boa” before entering the crowd and an alternate stage to fire up “BAS” and her Billboard Hot 100 solo hit “Hiss.”
The 29-year-old finished the medley with “Mamushi” and had a special surprise up her sleeve, bringing out Yuki Chiba for the Japanese rapper's VMAs debut. Yuki Chiba didn't hold back for the first time on stage at the VMAs, rocking a furry and loud red hat paired with an eye-catching denim jacket.
“Mamushi” has been a hit on TikTok, and Meg even nailed the signature dance moves that helped the track stay at No. 52 on this week's Billboard Hot 100 in its 10th week on the chart.
Meg and GloRilla's “Wanna Be” lost out to Taylor Swift and Post Malone's “Fortnight” for best collaboration, but “Boa” was also nominated for best hip-hop, best direction, best visual effects and best art. address.
