Providing one last dose of sunshine before autumn sets in, Armin van Buuren and Louis III have released a radiant new single, “Part of Me.”
The song marks the first time van Buuren has explored the sounds of Afro house, according to a press release issued by his label, Armada Music.
“Many years ago, I discovered that there’s something I love about every genre, no matter what style of music you prefer in general,” van Buuren said. “I had the pleasure of having some of my original songs brought into the Afro House space by some incredibly talented remixers, and what grabbed me and inspired me was the emotionality and warmth that the genre offers in spades. I felt compelled to channel that, and I’m glad I crossed paths with Louis III to make that happen.”
Along with the song's rhythmic drums, Louis III's cheerful vocals transport you to a beach that never closes for the season. With deep and intimate lyrics, the South London-born singer-songwriter said the opportunity to work alongside van Buuren was “a dream come true.”
“Part of Me” comes shortly after the release of “Follow The Light”, the A state of trance Icon's first collaboration with Hardwell in almost a decade. Shortly before, Van Buuren had shared “Es Vedrà”, a track that is also a tribute to his favourite place in Ibiza.
