LS Dunes consists of vocalist Anthony Green (Circa Survive), guitarist Frank Iero (My Chemical Romance), bassist Tim Payne (Thursday), guitarist Travis Stever (Coheed and Cambria), and drummer Tucker Rule (Thursday). They released their debut album, Past livesin 2022.
For now, “Fatal Deluxe” is a standalone single, but Iero reveals that the song offers a strong hint of what’s to come from LS Dunes.
“In my opinion, ‘Fatal Deluxe’ marks the official beginning of the second chapter of LS Dunes,” Iero stated in a press release. “It’s a song that bridges the musical gap between where we were as a band and how we were doing individually, and brings the listener to where we’re headed.”
He continued: “It breaks a lot of conventional rules and erases preconceived ideas about what the band is and what it might be capable of. It’s a song I didn’t want to stop listening to after recording it and a song I can’t wait to play for a live audience. Those feelings are often signs of something really special.”
