It's a good day to be a Taylor Swift fan. On Tuesday (October 15), the pop star announced her Good morning America which her official self-publishing Taylor Swift | The Eras tour Book as well as Section The tortured poets: The Anthology on CD and vinyl will hit Target shelves this holiday season, sending Swifties into a spiral of excitement online.
As with every major Taylor announcement, fans of the 14-time Grammy winner immediately took to social media to rejoice that photos from the historic world trip and Swift's personal thoughts would soon be packaged together into 256 pages, available on the day after Thanksgiving 2024. “CAN'T WAIT TO BRING THE SEASONS tour BOOK AND ANTHOLOGY HOME,” one person tweetedsharing a photo of her concert flyers from past Swift tours.
“The period tour book that has her 'reflections' from the tour is so fascinating yet so terrifying that I'm about to shake and cry every time I turn the page, oh my god.” another fan wrote in X.
Some fans joked that they went toe-to-toe to secure their copies on Black Friday, the biggest shopping day of the year in the US. “Me in 30 years from now reading the tour book of the seasons” one fan wrotewho shares an image of an elderly woman reading outside with a glass of wine.
Swift's book announcement comes more than a year and a half after she first kicked off her Eras tour in March 2023, beginning with a North American leg that eventually gave way to stretches in Latin America, Asia, Australia and Europe. There are now just five stops left on the tour, with the “Anti-Hero” singer returning from a two-month hiatus with a limited number of shows in the US and Canada starting on October 18 in Miami.
In addition to the book, Swift is also commemorating the end of the tour by finally releasing physical versions of it Section The tortured poets: The Anthologywhich dropped in April and spent 15 weeks at No. 1 on the Billboard 200. Vinyl and CD will be available exclusively at Target starting November 29, as will the Eras tour hardcover.
