Cardi B suffered a recent “medical emergency” that forced her to cancel her appearance at the 2024 ONE MusicFest this weekend.
Cardi released a statement on Wednesday (October 23) revealing that she is pulling out of the Atlanta festival after being hospitalized over the weekend for an unknown reason.
“I am very sad to share this news, but I have been in the hospital recovering from a medical emergency for the past two days and will not be able to perform at ONE MusicFest,” he wrote on Instagram. “It breaks my heart that I won't be able to see my fans this weekend and I really wish I could be there.”
Cardi continued to allay fans' concerns about the hospitalization: “Bardi Gang – thanks for understanding and I'll be back better and stronger soon. Don't worry. I love you all.”
Taraji P. Henson took to her comments section urging Cardi to take a break. “TAKE CARE OF YOURSELF,” the actress wrote.
The comeback festival in Atlanta is set for October 26 and 27, with Gunna and Victoria Monét set to headline without Cardi.
Cardi B has been making headlines from her hospital bed. She vowed to take down whoever pulled a prank on her, asking Child Protective Services to come to her home on accusations that he was abusing her three children.
“I swear I'll get to the bottom of it. To pull a little prank on Child Protective Services to come to my gated mansion at 11 p.m. while my children are sleeping because there is an anonymous call that my children are being abused and beaten,” she said. “Are you dumb? That's when pranks start to go too far – when you think it's funny.”
In a separate X outburst, Cardi took aim at ex-husband Offset in a scathing rant. “Brother I wish the worst to this man,” Cardi wrote. “I've never hated someone so much and these b—a are like that [thirsty] to have him, please take this man off my hands, this garbage bag is too heavy!!”
She clarified that he is the father of her children, so “I don't wish him dead…but I really hate that dirty a–narcissistic piece of sh–.” To be clear, Cardi confirmed that Set had nothing to do with the CPS call.
