Bear Grillz is a chef in the studio, crafting bass-infused beats and blending a variety of sonic flavors into his music. Now he's turning to a real-life kitchen after announcing the launch of a new food truck, Electric Donut Factor.
The truck, which will serve donut sandwiches, will open in Denver next month. The project is a collaboration between Bear Grillz, electronic music producer Stryer and chef Tom Coohill.
Together, they've curated a limited menu of three unique sandwiches that combine sweet and savory flavors. Glazed donuts act as sandwich buns in all three options: fried chicken topped with chipotle mayonnaise, a bacon burger, and a breakfast-inspired cinnamon, egg, and cheese treat.
“We are very excited to get this out to everyone in Denver and then eventually to the rest of the world,” Stryer said. Denver Post. “I can't think of a better place to launch it than Denver, a city that is so receptive to new ideas and [has] “It's a very fun culture for this type of product.”
The team is now set to host an opening party on November 3, combining culinary experiences and electronic music with a secret lineup of Denver-based DJs at Kulture Music Hall.
Electric Donut Factor is also reportedly coming to festivals and events across the country. You can stay updated on the appearance of the truck. here.
