Billboard Latin Music Week 2024 celebrated its 35th anniversary and honored this year's Power Players list on Monday, October 14.
The intimate event, held at Casadonna Miami, featured the annual slate of Latin music honorees with networking, speeches, awards, along with custom cocktails like the Johnnie Colada and Johnnie Cafe made with Johnnie Walker Black Label .
To top off the evening, Hannah Karp, Editorial Director, and Leila Cobo, Latin-Español Chief Content Officer, helped kick off the festivities with opening remarks, setting the stage for the honorees. The biggest honor of the night went to George Prajin for Executive of the Year, who was nominated by none other than his client, Peso Pluma. Separately, Rebeca León, CEO and Founder of Lionfish Entertainment, was honored with a Choice Award. Noah Assad, Junior Carabaño and Raymond Acosta received the 10-Year Impact Award on behalf of Rimas Entertainment. Sony Music's Alex Gallardo won top Latin Albums Label of the Year, with Sony Music Latin's Jorge Mejia taking Publishing Corporation of the Year.
