Nile Rodgers was unanimously re-elected to a third term as president of the Songwriters Hall of Fame at the board's annual meeting held in New York on October 15. In a key change, the president, officers and board will all serve five-year terms, up from the original three-year term.
Rodgers, a four-time Grammy winner, was inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2016 and the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2017 (in the category of musical excellence) and received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Recording Academy in 2023.

Re-elected officers with Moran include finance director and treasurer Tom Kelly and superior vps David the Israelite, Elizabeth Matthews and Mike O'Neillsecretary Mary Jo Mennella and deputy secretary Linda Buckley.
Elected board members are SHOF members Desmond Child, Steve Dorff and Paul Williams, recipient of the 2012 Schaffer “Ne-Yo” Smith Hal David Starlight Award, Martin N. Bandier, Donna Caseine, Samantha Cox, Charlie Feldman, Fletcher Foster, Pete Ganbarg, Randy Grimmett, John H. Josephson, Jody H. Klein, Evan Lamberg, Carianne Marshall, Nancy Munoz, Jon Platt, Irwin Z. Robinson, Harold Stephan, Bob Valentine and John Titta. Barry Slotnick will continue as a consultant.
