Tyler, the Creator threatened to bring the “old” back to his “30 minutes Chromaticity” mini-concert in Boston on Halloween (Oct. 31) while talking about his anger at Taylor Swift fans. The rapper slammed an attempt by Swifties to “cancel” him recently over old lyrics after he momentarily took the No. 1 spot on Spotify's global Top Artist chart for three days this week, marking the first time since The tally was released, breaking Swift's 698 day limit at the top.
“I've made Swifties mad at me with their racists,” Tyler said while standing over a green container full Chromaticity character suit. “Bringing old lyrics, b–ch, go listen to ‘Tron Cat’, I don’t give an af–k hoe. I don't give af–kb–ch. They will bring out the old me.”
While it wasn't clear which lyrics Tyler was referring to, the MC has brought up Swift more than a few times in sexual ways in his songs, including in 2011 Demon track “Fish,” in which he raps, “B–ches running 'round down, p–sy take a trip/ Make her strip, get my dk harder than the unzip/ Tyler quickly slides his d–k into the slit by Taylor Swift.” In “Nightmare” from the same album, she says, “My father called me to tell me he loves me / I'd have a better chance of getting Taylor Swift to fight me.”
Tyler ditched the music industry convention this week by releasing his latest album on Monday, instead of the typical Friday window for new releases. He has also announced the dates for 2025 Chromaticity world tour, with the US leg scheduled to kick off on February 4th at the Xcel Energy Center in St. Paul, Minn. and conclude on July 27 in Newark, NJ
