TOMORROW X TOGETHER dropped their seventh mini-album, The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY, and to celebrate, the group debuted the song “Over the Moon” live during the last show of their WORLD TOUR <ACT : PROMISE> ENCORE IN SEOUL on November 3.
Introducing the new lead single as a “serenade” to their beloved fanbase, known as MOA, TOMORROW X TOGETHER performed the hit to thousands of fans, complete with Soobin, Yeonjun, Beomgyu, Taehyun and HueningKai’s characteristically smooth and synchronized choreography. “Over the moon, over the stars/ I soar when you’re in my arms/ Over the moon, over the stars/ Whisper me my name,” the band sings in the swoon-worthy track, which “echoes Gen Z’s love story, conveying the multifaceted nature of love and the boundless hope for a shared future,” according to a press release.
The Star Chapter: SANCTUARY arrives seven months after the group’s previous mini, minisode 3: TOMORROW, and ushers in “a new phase of their artistic journey as K-pop‘s visual storytellers.” Across the album’s six tracks — ”Heaven,” “Over The Moon,” “Danger,” “Resist (Not Gonna Run Away),” “Forty One Winks,” and “Higher Than Heaven” — TOMORROW X TOGETHER features all members of the band contributing to the lyrics that follow the theme of the universal language of love.
