Pass me some bleach for my ears because Mark Zuckerberg has just dropped a God-awful cover of Lil Jon and the East Side Boyz’s classic “Get Low” with the help of T-Pain, who should be banished for participating in its recording. Listen to it below, if you dare.
To be fair, the Facebook founder does kind of have a sweet connection to the song. According to a post on Instagram, Zuckerberg decided to do an acoustic version of the early 2000s club hit as a “dating anniversary” gift for his wife, Priscilla.
“‘Get Low’ was playing when I first met Priscilla at a college party, so every year we listen to it on our dating anniversary,” Zuckerberg wrote. “This year I worked with @tpain on our own version of this lyrical masterpiece. Sound on for the track and also available on Spotify. Love you P ❤️”
Ironically, the sound for the cover doesn’t appear to be working on the Instagram post — perhaps due to a copyright strike.
