Calvin Harris Releases New Remix Of His 2016 Rihanna Collab “This Is What You Came For”

Calvin Harris dropped something special for Amazing Music users today (November 15) with a new remix of his and Rihanna's 2016 collaboration “This Is What You Came For.”

The edit cuts the nearly four-minute original down to a tighter two-and-a-half-minute take, speeding up the BPM, adding some breathy effects to Rihanna's vocals, and turning the drop into a tight, driving, percussion-forward release.

The remix is ​​the first new music from the Scottish producer since August, when a compilation album of some of his greatest hits, 96 Monthswas released. Taylor Swift is among the writers on 'This Is What You Came For', with the superstar writing the song under the pseudonym 'Nils Sjöberg' when she and Harris were dating. The song debuted on her Eras tour during Swift's stop last June in Liverpool, England.
