New Edition extends its popular residency at the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas. The R&B/pop group announced Monday (Nov. 18) that “New Edition: Las Vegas” will return to the venue for six more shows in the winter of 2025, including Valentine's Day weekend: 12, 14-15, 19 , 21 February 22.
“There's no R&B group like New Edition,” Bobby Reynolds, senior vice president of AEG Presents Las Vegas, said in the press release. “New Edition's exclusive residency at the Encore Theater has already left an indelible mark on the venue and Las Vegas residences as a whole. We look forward to bringing the band back to the Las Vegas Strip in February 2025 and reuniting with fans from around the world who enjoy their songs as much as we do.”
The expansion follows New Edition's 15 sold-out shows during its first run at Encore, which the band launched on February 28. Members Ronnie DeVoe, Bobby Brown, Ricky Bell, Michael Bivins, Ralph Tresvant and Johnny Gill commented in a statement from the group, “Performing for our fans and NE4LIFERS in Las Vegas last year was a dream come true. The intimate size of the Encore Theater allows us to feel a personal connection with our audience members and fans every night, making each show more special than the next. We can't wait to return to the stage in 2025, create new memories and share what we have in store for our fans — including special concerts on Valentine's weekend!”
In an announcement video, the group promises “a night to remember.”
