Eminem returned on Monday (November 19) to deliver the Street Fighter-Lyric video for “Fuel” featuring JID The animated clip follows both artists on their journey through the game, as JID takes the baton and heads to an arcade to jump on the sticks.
Em joins the party for a matchup of two versions of himself, Eminem vs. Slim Shady, that brings out his themes The Death of Slim Shady album that arrived in July.

The Death of Slim Shady (Coup de Grâce) was released in July and was Eminem's first LP since 2020 Music to be murdered by. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 with 281,000 equivalent album units earned in the U.S. in the week ending July 18, according to Luminate.
“Fuel” ended up at No. 21 on the Billboard Hot 100 and later remixed a Shady Edition of the track with Westside Boogie and GRIP.
Earlier in November, Eminem was announced as a candidate for the Songwriters Hall of Fame. Just six of the 26 nominees will be presented at a ceremony in June 2025 in New York. Janet Jackson and NWA are also among the nominees.
