Devin Townsend has announced a 2025 North American tour with fellow prog metallers TesseracT.
The outing runs throughout the month of May, kicking off on the 2nd in Nashville and wrapping up on the 23rd in Los Angeles. Townsend will make a stop to play Milwaukee Metal Fest on May 17th, with TesseracT supporting all other headlining dates.

A Live Nation ticket pre-sale for select dates begins Tuesday (November 19th) at 2 p.m. ET using the code BEATS. General ticket sales start Friday (November 22nd) at 10 a.m. local time via Ticketmaster.
Townsend is coming off the October release of his new album PowerNerd — an 11-song collection that was penned in just 11 days by the prog-metal master.
“It was a conscious thing,” he said the album’s spontaneous composition in a press release. “I thought, ‘I’ve spent so much time overthinking every aspect of my work — what would happen if I didn’t?’ Maybe I would have the opportunity to be a bit more direct with what it is that I’m trying to do. I really wanted to see if I could cut through some of the meandering.”
Meanwhile, TesseracT released their latest full-length, War of Being, in late 2023, breaking a five-year gap between albums.
